The Avon Valley Inn. The quintessential Gloucester pub. It has good value food and drink, an outdoor patio and all the facilities that are indicative of a quality venue. The inclusion of a bottle shop brings value to the location.

For a lively destination one has to observe the smothering feel of the interior during a semi-busy evening. The double edged sword being that the outside reservation is top quality. With fantastic furnishings and humorous decorations it would appear that this pub lends itself to a seasonal patronage.

Whilst shortcomings are evident in the selection of drinks and the somewhat cramped interior the Avon Valley Inn is a solid venue to enjoy a cheap drink and meal.
